Game Developer

As a Game Developer, you’ll be involved in the whole process of web based game development from ideation to release. You will be using your coding experience to provide and implement solutions to new ideas that will define the future of online entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Game development with web based and native mobile (iOS/Android) technologies
  • Setting a high bar on code best practices
  • Proactively finding code obstacles and eliminating them
  • Code reviews
  • Contributing to development tools and shared modules
  • Participate in the content creation pipeline and find ways to optimize/automate workflows
  • Optimization - use diagnostic tools to examine the current content and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software development
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Typescript and/or C++
  • Familiar with version control systems
  • Strong written and verbal English knowledge
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Capable of working in a team environment, as well as working independently
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Adept in fast-paced environments, multitasking and attention to detail

Nice to haves

  • Experience in 3D modeling and animation
  • Software knowledge: Blender, Adobe After Effects, Mudbox, Zbrush
  • Familiar with programming in AS3
  • Experience in game development
  • Knowledge of shader programming and OpenGL skills
  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or a similar discipline
